Chris Kelly boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Fort Washington Generals. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings. Noel Franczyk got the win for Fort Washington Generals pitching four innings and Jason Greene pitched one shutout inning to get the save he struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.
The top of the second saw Lansdale take an early lead, 1-0. #12 kicked things off for Lansdale with a single. Then moved #12 from first to second. #11 doubled, plating #12.
Fort Washington Generals answered Lansdale’s top inning with two runs of its own in the second. Fort Washington Generals scored on a groundout by Jason Greene and an RBI single by Albert John. Fort Washington Generals piled on two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. Mike Zicchinolfi singled, scoring John to start the inning. That was followed up by Riley Brink‘s single, bringing home Mike Zicchinolfi.
