Fort Washington Generals jumped out to an early lead on Valley Forge and captured a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. The game was decided quickly as Fort Washington Generals exerted its will early with seven runs in the first three innings. An RBI single by Riley Brink during the second inning fueled Fort Washington Generals’ offense early.
Ryan O’Gara racked up three RBIs on three hits for Fort Washington Generals. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the second and fifth innings. Fort Washington Generals’ Brendan Petrilli kept Valley Forge off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up six. Fort Washington Generals tacked on another six runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Matt Gold singled to kick things off. That was followed up with a steal of home by Matt Gold.
