The Fort Washington Generals beat Huntington. Valley 12-4 in six innings on Thursday highlighted by an eight-run explosion in the fifth inning.

In the fifth, Thomas Juelke led off with a walk and after stealing second and third, scored on an RBI single by Noel Franczyk. Four straight Generals batters, Ryan O’Gara, Jason Greene, Chris Kelly and Justin Horn, all worked walks, scoring a run and leaving the bases loaded. This set the stage for a three-run triple by Tom Reilly, who scored on a error to clear the bases. Overall, Tom Reilly racked up four RBIs on three hits for Fort Washington Generals.
On the mound, David Keller‘s nine strikeouts helped Fort Washington Generals to the

victory. Keller allowed one earned run on two hits and four walks over six innings.
Huntington Valley jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Acker started the rally for Hunt. Valley with a single. Hunt. Valley added more runs when Acker scored.
After a quick strike from Hunt. Valley, Fort Washington Generals responded with three runs in the fourth to tie the game. Fort Washington Generals scored on an RBI single by Jason Greene, a groundout by Justin Horn, and an RBI single by Tom Reilly.
