Generals 8 Jenkintown 0 (Game 2)

Jason Greene pitched a 6 hit 7 inning shut out, recording 5 strikeouts,  as the Generals blanked Jenkintown 8-0 in the night cap of the double header.  Greene needed only 82 pitches to complete the game.

Fort Washington scored in the bottom half of the first after Justin Horn (who went 3-3), walked and scored on a double by Noel Franczyk.   As with the first game of the twin bill, the Generals had a big forth inning, plating 4 runs on hits by Justin Horn and Tommy Reilly after a series of walks by Jenkintowns pitcher.   The Generals added 2 more runs in the fifth on a single by Danny Groff and a triple by Justin Horn.  The last run was plated in the bottom of the 6th as Michael Zicchonalfi drove in Jason O’Gara who had reached on a walk.

With the win, The Generals improve to 8-3 in the league.
