Generals 9 Jenkintown 2 (Game 1)

The Fort Washington Generals used an 8 run 4th inning burst to top Jenkintown. Tommy Reilly earned the win, pitching 6 strong innings and recording 8 strikeouts and holding Jenkintown to just 5 hits.  Reilly also helped his cause at the plate going 2 for 4 including 2 RBIs.

The Generals started the 4th inning with 2 walks to Noel Franczyk and Thomas Juelke followed by a single by Mike Reilly to load the bases. The Jenkintown pitcher surrendered walks to the next two batters, David Keller and Matt Hebling, before hitting the next 2 batters, Max Weinberg and Justing Horn, scoring 4 runs.  Tommy Reilly followed with his 2 run single, and JT Breslin drove in Horne with a single.

Mike Reilly closed out the game, pitching the top of the seventh, allowing 1 run.   Overall the Generals amassed 7 hits and played a clean game in the field.
