Justin Horn, Tommy Reilly, and JT Breslin each collected 2 hits including an RBI triple by Breslin in the 4th inning.
On the mound, Noel Franczyk got the win for Fort Washington Generals, allowing five runs over five innings, while striking out six, walked three and gave up 10 hits. David Keller and Chris Kelly pitched the 6th and 7th innings.
Fort Washington Generals and Morelanders each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but Fort Washington Generals capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 12-7 win at Woodlawn. Morelanders had 14 hits compared with Fort Washington Generals’ 12, but Morelanders stranded 10 runners on base.
Chris Kelly racked up five RBIs on three hits for Fort Washington Generals. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings. Fort Washington Generals easily handled Morelanders pitching as six hitters combined for 10 hits, eight RBIs and 10 runs scored.
Fort Washington Generals went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on a two-run single by Kelly. Fort Washington Generals tacked on another two runs in the second. A clutch to open the scoring in the frame.
Fort Washington Generals scored three runs in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with three more in the sixth. In the fourth, Fort Washington Generals scored on an RBI triple by JT Breslin, scoring Tom Reilly.
