Roslyn Falls 8-2 At The Hands Of Fort Washington Generals, as the Fort Washington Generals beat Roslyn on Saturday 8-2 in seven innings.

16 6 25 Roslyn 15Fort Washington Generals scored two runs in the sixth on Fort Washington Generals scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Mike Reilly and an RBI single by Chris Kelly.

Justin Horn got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the first and fifth innings.  The game included two very exciting plays for the Generals.  First Max Weinberg hit a round tripper, the teams first of this season, on a line drive to left that made its way past the Roslyn left fielder and the team executed a perfect relay play from left fielder Mike Reilly to cut off man, shortstop Justin Horn to third baseman Jason Greene to cut down a Roslyn batter trying to extend a double to a triple.

Roslyn couldn’t get anything going as long as Tom Reilly was pitching. Reilly gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out two during his six innings of work.

Troyer took the loss for Roslyn. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked three and struck out one.  Fort Washington Generals didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on an RBI single by Reilly.  Fort Washington Generals got two-run boosts in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth. In the fourth, Fort Washington Generals scored on an error, scoring JT Breslin.
