Fort Washington Generals Get On Top Of Roslyn Early But Can’t Hang On In 4-3 Loss
Fort Washington Generals jumped out to an early lead, but was unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to Roslyn on Wednesday. Roslyn took the lead in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Clewell.
Tom Reilly did his best to jumpstart the offense for Fort Washington Generals, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the second inning.
Janoson got the win in relief for Roslyn. Janoson pitched four innings and allowed no runs. Noel Franczyk ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 6 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
Fort Washington Generals jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. More runs came home for Fort Washington Generals when Reilly scored when Thomas Juelke was hit by a pitch.
The Generals will now face Warminster Thursday night in the next round of the playoffs.
