Fort Washington Generals Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Mt. Airy

Fort Washington Generals took the lead late and defeated Mt. Airy 11-3 on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Fort Washington Generals batting in the top of the sixth when Maddoxinduced Garret Breslin to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs scored.

Mt. Airy took an early lead in the first inning.

Fort Washington Generals evened things up at two in the top of the fifth inning. Fort Washington Generals scored one run when Mike Zicchinolfi singled with two outs in the fifth inning.

Fort Washington Generals scored four runs in the seventh inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Matt Hebling, a double by JT Breslin, and a error.

Max Weinberg earned the win for Fort Washington Generals. He pitched two innings, allowing one run, and one hit. Teagle took the loss for Mt. Airy. He threw four innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, and striking out three.

Riley Brink started the game for Fort Washington Generals. He pitched three innings, surrendering two runs, five hits, and striking out three.
