Fort Washington Generals Beats More Landers Behind Keller’s No-Hitter

IMG_7021.JPGDavid Keller didn’t allow a single hit as Fort Washington Generals defeated More landers 8-1 on Sunday. To get the final out Keller struck out Connor O’Donnell.

An early lead helped propel Fort Washington Generals to victory. Fort Washington Generalsscored on a single by JT Breslin in the first inning, a single by Jake Dianno in the first inning, a single by Brian McPeak in the first inning, a single by Greg Cooper in the second inning, and a double by Justin Horn in the second inning.

Fort Washington Generals captured the lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Breslin drove in one run when he singled.

David Keller earned the win for Fort Washington Generals. He tossed seven innings, giving up one run, zero hits, and striking out 13. Joseph Bates took the loss for More landers. He pitched six innings, giving up eight runs, eight hits, and striking out nine.

Fort Washington Generals collected eight hits. HornMcPeak, and Cooper each collected multiple hits for Fort Washington GeneralsCooperDiannoMcPeakBreslinHorn, and Albert John each drove in one run to lead Fort Washington GeneralsFort Washington Generals stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Breslin led the way with four.

Connor O’Donnell went 0-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in.
