Fort Washington Generals Grabs Lead In Fourth Inning For Victory Over More Landers

IMG_7223.JPGFort Washington Generals defeated More landers 13-1 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with Fort Washington Generals batting in the bottom of the fourth when Robert McGoldrick induced Jake Dianno to ground out, but one run scored.

Fort Washington Generals captured the lead in the first inning. JT Breslin‘s sac fly scored one run for Fort Washington Generals.

More landers knotted the game up at one in the top of the second inning. Connor O’Donnellsingled on a 3-2 count in the second inning, scoring one run.

Fort Washington Generals took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning.

Fort Washington Generals scored five runs in the fifth inning. Fort Washington Generals‘s big inning was driven by a passed ball , a walk , a single by Jack Jamison, and a walk.

Matt Hebling earned the win for Fort Washington Generals. He tossed five innings, giving up one run, six hits, and striking out two. O’Donnell took the loss for More landers. He went three innings, giving up one run, one hit, and walking one.

IMG_7284Jamison went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Fort Washington Generals in hits. Fort Washington Generals stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Justin Hornled the way with two. Fort Washington Generals didn’t commit a single error in the field. Hornhad four chances in the field, the most on the team.
