FORT WASHINGTON GENERALS CAN’T HOLD UP AGAINST JENKINTOWN

Garrett.jpgFort Washington Generals had trouble keeping up with Jenkintown in a 10-1 loss on Saturday. Fort Washington Generals took an early lead in the first inning. A wild pitch by Jacob Petrisko scored one run for Fort Washington Generals. Jenkintown took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Garret Breslin induced Jared Smith to ground out, but two runs scored.

Jenkintown scored seven runs in the seventh inning. Jenkintown’s big inning was driven by a single by Jake Gaev, a error, a single by John Contoudis, and a single by Joe Worek.
Petrisko earned the win for Jenkintown. He went seven innings, giving up one run, three hits, and striking out six. Breslin took the loss for Fort Washington Generals. He threw six and a third innings, giving up six runs, three hits, and striking out one.

Noel Franczyk, JT Breslin, and Justin Horn each collected one hit to lead Fort Washington Generals.

Jenkintown was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Tim MacColl made the most plays with 11.
