FORT WASHINGTON GENERALS CAN’T HOLD UP AGAINST BROOMALL

Fort Washington Generals couldn’t keep up with Broomall and fell 14-1 on Monday.
Broomall scored nine runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Broomall came thanks to a single by Vince Sposati, a walk by Steve Morrison, a single by Scott Hahn, a single by Luke Cantwell, a single by Luke Zimmerman, a single by Corey Woodcock, and a single by Chris Annas.

The Fort collected 5 hits on the day with Justin Horn-single, Matt Hebling-single and JT Breslin- Double getting hits on their final at bat as a senior Fort Washington General player. (not counting JT’s last at bat. )

Breslin had added an earlier single and Brian McPeak had the Fort’s other hit.

Mike Zicchinolfi knocked in the Generals lone run with an RBI ground out.

Broomall collected 18 hits. Sposati, Alden Mathes, Woodcock, Annas, Hahn, and Zimmerman each collected multiple hits for Broomall.
